Councilmember Riemer unfamiliar with MCPS Code Red Drills?

Councilmember Hans Riemer has posted the following question on Facebook in reaction to today's front page Washington Post article. 

 It would appear that Councilmember Hans Riemer is unfamiliar with MCPS Code Red procedures and school security issues in general.

    What about principals who take students into closets? Floyd Starnes, still sits as principal at Kemp Mill Elementary School. Mr. Starnes has been reported over and over again by multiple sources (parents and teachers)to Bronda Mills and other MCPS officials as well as to CPS. There is NO reason to take a child into a closet and there is no reason for an adult to lock a child in any space within a school.
    As usual, Bronda Mills was spinning the MCPS line. If you'll notice in the WaPo article, everyone, parents, attorney, etc are shocked over the reported behavior of the teacher. But, Dana Tofig and Bronda Mills seemed just fine with it all.
