No longer can MCPS and its proxies dismiss objections to the construction of the new middles school in Kensington as NIMBYism because the NIMBYs have been tossed out by the courts. Now we get to the crux of the matter and why MCPS repeatedly has refused to commit to an IB program in the new school. The concerns laid out here are substantive and quantifiable, and it is incumbent on MCPS and the supporters of construction on that site to justify this academic disparity among students in the same cluster.
