LEONARDTOWN, MD – A school district in southern Maryland is "pressing pause" on having students return to in-person learning, after a major outbreak at an elementary school.
Dr. J. Scott Smith, superintendent at St. Mary's County Public Schools, announced today that multiple staff members at George Washington Carver Elementary School have tested positive for COVID-19.
