Million dollar day: Weast hires 5 non-school based administrators

Amid county wide teacher cuts, Superintendent Jerry Weast appointed 5 non-school based administrators today. From news reports outside of MCPS we have learned that current MCPS administrators' salary and compensation ranges from $200,000 to $250,000.




Today's $1 million plus in administrator appointments:

1. Associate Superintendent - Office of Human Resources and Development:  Carole Goodman (Blake HS principal)
2. Consulting Principal: Jan Riley (Brown Station principal)
3. Director of Materials Management: Kathleen Lazor
4. Director Director of Facilities Management: James Song
5. MCPS Professional Growth System Liaison: Gary B. Bartee
