State to Expedite Review of Pearson Contract Vote
In response to the Request for Stay of the vote of the MCPS Board of Education to approve the contract with Pearson Education Inc., the State Superintendent has requested a response from the MCPS Board of Education by June 24, 2010, and the State Board has requested a response from the MCPS Board of Education by July 1, 2010.
The State Board of Education is handling the Request for Stay as an appeal and has set an expedited schedule for the filing of responses.
