Board members to skip forums on Superintendent selection

    Amazing. Public input for a new Supt. is wanted but the BOE members aren't attending to hear any of the input.

    So those making the direct decision have no direct contcat with those they "want" the input from.

    Anonymous, I think you are making a mistake in interpreting what just happened. BOE will not be making a 'direct decision.' You elected a passive rubber stamp Board of Education, or should I say, re-elected. Theuy will lea ve the 'decision' up to HYA and I assume MCPS public employees. No word on the influence of the MCEA yet.

    And, they I assume ARE attending the meetings with people whose input they want; those would be the people on the secret list that received their private invitations on January 7th. Were you one of them?
