In a joint house priority hearing
ReplyDeleteA red herring has no bearing
Placing protocol over principle
Is the status quo and it's pitiful
For the voters' pleas it appears
They seem to fall on deaf ears.
At first this gentle reminder
ReplyDeleteSounds quite caring and noble
But based on the track record
It is old wine in a new bottle.
