Teacher’s Union Declares ‘No Confidence’ in MCPS Board, Leadership

Upset that Montgomery County Public Schools continue to meet in person rather than go virtual, the leadership of the Montgomery County Educators Association Monday, during an emergency representative assembly, agreed to let Board of Education members and Interim Superintendent Monifa McKnight know they have “no confidence” in their leadership and “demand immediate action to address our concerns.” ..

    It is my understanding that the State Board and State Superintendent are directing in-person instruction.
