ReplyDeleteThe Gazette might want to ask school system spokesman Dana Tofig to issue a Fact Check on himself. Ask Mr Tofig to please cite the specific law that gives authority to the Board to keep this from public discussion. However, the Gazette might have to consider that Mr Tofig's response may be negated by the overruling fact that Mr Tofig does not have authority to speak for the Board of Education. Mr Tofig would first have to cite the law that gives him authority to speak for the Board of Education. Mr Tofig is an employee of the MCPS and as noted above, was hired to speak for the school system, not the Board of Education.
